21-Year-Old Accused Of Abusing His Infant Son In 2022

A 21-year-old man is accused of physically abusing his 3-month-old son in 2022.

An affidavit filed in Oklahoma County District Court said Ethan Milligan, 21, had abused his 3-month-old son on February 27, 2022.

A follow-up investigation was conducted on March 1, 2022, after the infant’s mother took her son to the hospital on February 28.

The mother claimed that she noticed the 3-month-old had bruising on his face after he was in the care of his father while she was at work.

The affidavit also stated that Milligan had told the mother that the infant was hit in the face by a car door, but he didn’t specify when the incident occurred.

The 3-month-old had bruising underneath his left eye, his forehead was red and there was a red mark/bruising on the right side of his head, above the ear, the affidavit stated.

Milligan said he was delivering food for Uber Eats on the date of the incident when the infant got fussy and started to cry.

Milligan also stated that he had tried to put his fingers in the infant’s mouth to try and soothe him, but it didn’t work.

The affidavit said Milligan had hit the infant with an open hand four to five times.

Milligan said he felt remorseful for his actions after it happened.

Milligan is now facing a charge of child abuse.
