Cherokee Nation Looking For Cast & Crew For New Musical

The Cherokee Nation is looking for cast and crew for a historical musical.

'Nanyehi- the Story of Nancy Ward' is hosting a casting call for the musical's October productions and the Hard Rock Casino.

The musical is about a Cherokee woman who was first honored as a warrior in the 1700s, then as a peacemaker during the American Revolution.

There are more than 30 roles open for both native and non-native actors, singers and dancers of all ages.

Auditions will be held in Muskogee at the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame on July 14th and at the 'Fly Loft' in Tulsa on July 15th.
