OSU Softball Pitcher Kelly Maxwell Headed To Sooners

News 9 has confirmed that Oklahoma State pitcher Kelly Maxwell will be joining the Oklahoma Sooners.

Extra Inning Softball had the news first that Maxwell would be headed to OU to join Patty Gasso's national championship squad. News 9 Sports Director Dean Blevins confirmed the news Thursday afternoon.

Maxwell is expected to fill the role left behind by Jordy Bahl, who transferred to Nebraska during the offseason.

The Oklahoma Sooners have won three consecutive national titles.
