A multi-million dollar lawsuit is claiming faulty wiring was the cause of the Canton Apartments fire in 2022.

According to the lawsuit, the owners blamed the fire on faulty wiring by OG&E and a subcontractor.

One company originally named in the lawsuit, Red Dirt Electric, has been dropped from it after the company's owner claimed his company was mistakenly named in the suit.

The lawsuit was amended to instead name a different company called Red Dirt Construction.
