Three people are in custody after a vehicle standoff that happened Sunday in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.
Oklahoma City Police said they responded to the scene near Southwest 40th Street and South Villa Avenue in reference to a truck parked in the street.
When police approached the driver’s door, they said they saw the driver, who appeared to be passed out, had a handgun in one hand and a magazine in the other.
Officers then backed away from the vehicle before they realized the vehicle was involved in another incident where the driver flashed a gun at a bar, police said.

Police said they then placed stop sticks in front of the vehicle before more units arrived on scene.
Commands were given over the PA system, but there was no response from the vehicle.
The driver, Juan Zanella-Ramirez, 28, opened the door after an hour and a half standoff and was taken into custody, police said.
Two passengers, who were also inside of the vehicle, were also taken into custody.
Ramirez was arrested on the complaints of actual physical control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a firearm while intoxicated..
