A 19-year-old, accused of impersonating a physician at two Texas hospitals, is now in Oklahoma accused of different crimes.

Investigators now say he swindled a metro car dealership out of more than $100,000, acquired another man's Tesla through a fraudulent sale, and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry from a Walmart.

Having spent much of his life evading capture, and proving to be slippery, Apache Police hatched a scheme to lure Zachry Bailey out of his parent's home where they believed he was hiding.

Under the cover of darkness, and acting on a hunch, Apache Police went searching for Bailey at his parent’s home in Apache Oklahoma.

Police: See usually only that car is there. See, it's brand new. This is his car dude. This is his car.

Police knocked on Zachry Bailey's parent's front door.

Using a ruse, police lured Bailey's father out of his home.

Police: Hey Mr. Bailey, how are you doing? Hey listen, I was driving around and some kids were jacking with your cars out here.
Father: Do what?
Police: There's some kids jacking with your cars.
Father: Kids?
Police: Yeah, I ran them off, you want to make sure your cars are alright?

Once outside of his home, police explain to Bailey the real reason behind their visit.

Police: Hey Mr. Bailey, where's Zachry at?
Father: Why?
Police: Because I got a warrant for his arrest.
Father: Awe.
Police: Listen, listen. Do not get yourself in a jam on this.

Police confronted Zachry Bailey inside.

Police: You Zachry?
Bailey: Yeah.
Police: Turn around, hands behind your back.

Charged with stealing cars through fraud, impersonating a physician in Texas, Apache police also learned Bailey is suspected of impersonating an officer.

“He had just a sheriff shirt that had sheriff written on it, and a gun in the car with an old police vehicle that had police down the side still,” said Apache Police Chief Brynn Barnett.

Police said Bailey only had one concern.

Bailey: How'd y'all know I was here?

Police: Listen, I chased escapees for eighteen years with the Department of Corrections. I’m pretty good at this.

Police said Bailey could face additional charges.

They believe Bailey has defrauded multiple banks, and may have even committed another vehicle scam following his arrest Sunday. These claims remain under investigation.
