Pursuit Ends In SE Oklahoma City Crash, Driver Taken Into Custody

A police chase ended in a crash Tuesday evening at a southeast Oklahoma City gas station.

Police confirm the suspect is Christian Charles Jackson.

Oklahoma City Police said the pursuit started near Southeast 59th Street and Sooner Road when police tried to make contact with a man who had a warrant.

Police said the man then fled the scene and tossed a gun out the window before the pursuit came to an end when the vehicle crashed out near Interstate 240 and Sooner Road.

The man lost control of the vehicle and hit another vehicle next to the gas station before coming to a stop in the parking lot, according to police.

The man was transported to the hospital and will eventually be booked into jail, police said.

The driver of the vehicle the man hit was not injured, police said.
