World Championship Punkin Chunkin Heads To Oklahoma

The World Championship Punkin Chunkin is headed to Oklahoma this year. 

The event was historically held in Delaware before moving here. 

Teams use gravity powered machines to fling pumpkins at targets.

Organizers struggled to find a plot of land big enough to hold the competition but they found it this year in Vinita.

It will be held at John’s Tractor Works right off of Route 66. 

The contest kicks off October 28.
