Oklahoma City Police are investigating two shootings and a stabbing that left three people injured over the weekend.
The latest incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. Sunday near Southwest 41st Street and South May Avenue.
Police said Dara McClendon-Barber told dispatchers, "I shot my husband and meant it."
"Whenever (officers) got to the scene, they ended up locating the female suspect in a vehicle with a couple of dogs," said Capt. Ben Weir with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Police said McClendon-Barber shot her husband in the shoulder. He drove himself to a hospital and was stable at last check.
Weir said officers were still looking into what led up to the shooting. Police said in addition to the suspect, they arrested her husband for allegedly having a firearm after a felony conviction.
Elsewhere in Oklahoma City, police are investigating another shooting that happened early Sunday morning near Northwest 10th Street and Hudson Avenue.
Investigators said a 17-year-old shot a 21-year-old several times after a heated exchange. The victim is expected to survive while the teen suspect is in custody.
Not in custody, however, is the suspect in a stabbing at a gas station in Oklahoma City.
Police said a female stabbed a 32-year-old man at a 7-Eleven near Northwest 16th Street and Meridian Avenue at around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the stabbing victim was in critical condition but was stable at last check. Meanwhile, officers are still looking for his attacker. Police said they are working to determine the relationship between the two. Investigators have not released a suspect description.
