A man told police a woman he had been dating stabbed him at an Oklahoma City gas station over the weekend.
The attack happened on Saturday at about 4:42 p.m. at the 7-Eleven on North Meridian Avenue, according to an incident report from the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The report said an officer reviewed surveillance video, which showed a woman using her fist and what appeared to be a flashlight to hit the 36-year-old victim several times in the face. She then reached into her pocket and stabbed the victim in the chest, according to the report. Afterward, the woman left the gas station in a vehicle.
When responding officers were tending to the victim, they discovered a stab wound around his sternum area, the report said. His blood pressure later dropped, prompting first responders to rush him to a hospital. Police said the victim was stabilized and was walking around at the hospital.
The incident report indicated that police knew who the suspect was. But at last check, she had not been arrested. The victim told police that he and the suspect "have been in a dating relationship for a while," according to the report.
Saturday's stabbing was one of several crime scenes that Oklahoma City Police responded to over the weekend. Early Sunday morning, there was a shooting outside Sunset Patio at Northwest 10th Street and North Hudson Avenue. Then, on Sunday afternoon, police said a woman shot her husband, then confessed to dispatchers.
