An arrest warrant has been issued for the Edmond Officer who admitted to shooting and killing her brother in their mother's home in August.

Edmond officer Jennifer Haddock was booked after she admitted to shooting her brother, Sean, following a dispute over furniture at the Spring Creek Apartments.

She bonded out, and now another warrant has been issued with a new bond set at 25 thousand dollars.

She is facing criminal felony charges for murder.

On August 3, 2023, a call came in at around 9:30 about a shooting at the Spring Creek apartments, just across the street from Edmond Memorial High School. Police say the call came from Lieutenant Jennifer Haddock herself.

Edmond’s Fire Deputy Chief Chris Denton said when his crews arrived, they began life-saving measures.

The man they tried to save died on the scene.

Police say the shooting happened inside the complex.

“All parties are accounted for cooperating and working with investigators,” said Emily Ward with Edmond Police.

A lot of the scene is still under investigation.

“Technical investigators are still out here doing their job. So, if you live in the apartment complex and live in this area, please stay inside,” said Ward.

Haddock was off duty at the time of the shooting and has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues, police said.

We also spoke with neighbors who didn’t hear anything. Other neighbors say they cannot believe this happened as it is usually a quiet neighborhood.
