Some Halloween safety tips:

  1. Make sure your kid can see. Stay away from masks that limit vision for your child. Try face paint instead.
  2. Make sure your kid can be seen. Try light colored costumes, light-up accessories and flashlights.
  3. Make sure you know where your kids are going and they have an adult with them.
  4. Visit houses with their porch lights on, but don't go inside.
  5. Check your kid's candy to make sure it is sealed and has not been tampered with.
  6. Stay present with your kids. Try to stay off your phone and keep an eye on where your kids are, traffic, neighborhood pets, etc.
