A snake, that had allegedly been living off of neighborhood cats, has been caught in an Oklahoma City trailer park.
The snake was caught in the the Burntwood community near Southeast 89th and South Bryant Avenue.

Snakes Alive Exotics Rescue and Sanctuary has caught the snake that has been on the loose since June, according to Burntwood residents. Residents found him under a trash receptacle, according to the rescue, then put the python in a hamper and taped it shut. The trailer park maintenance then took the snake and put it in a dog kennel, according to the rescue.
The snake has been identified as an 8-foot albino golden child reticulated python, according to the rescue.
The python has a respiratory infection, according to the rescue, because of the cold. The rescue says that the snake will be rehabilitated.
The rescue says it is good that the snake was caught now, because the cold temperatures expected soon could have killed it.
