A group of Yukon book-lovers have known one-another for decades, but they are now looking to expand their circle.
The Friends of the Library work together to raise funds for the Mabel C. Fry Public Library with book sales every month.
"It allows us to give back to the city of Yukon," group president Susie Grimes said.
Grimes said she believes it's a great way to meet new people and share a love of books at a low cost. Paperbacks are on sale for 50 cents and hardbacks are just a dollar.
"I love people, I love books and this let's me get out and volunteer in the community," Grimes said.
Friends of the Library said they offer more than just traditional books, but also audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs.
The group's book sales happen from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. every first and third Saturday of the month at 510 Elm Avenue in Yukon.
