The final Bedlam game is in the books on Saturday, but before the final score, fans made sure to get their tailgating in.

Hundreds of people filled the streets of Stillwater before the final matchup between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, with many cheering for their respective teams.

They were soaking in the last moments of the century-long matchup.

"I had to come up here and celebrate the last one with my friends. Everybody's here, tailgating's great, OSU fans are great, and it's a fun event," said JC Wright, an OU alumni.

Even though the rivalry ran high during the game, fans from both sides say they looked forward to the tailgates that brought them together.

"This is where we come to enjoy time, enjoy our friends, have time for a little conversation, a little beverage and a little food," Cowboys fan Scott Bulling said.

Tents were filled with Orange and Crimson, not only sharing a TV screen but also good-natured ribbing and good memories.

"It's just getting friends and family together and stuff, and we always love welcoming the visiting fans. So I got a lot of friends that are OU fans and so it's fun to have them here today too," Joel Hupp said sporting America's brightest orange.

And while some may have started their tailgate at the crack of dawn, they had no intentions of stopping after the fourth quarter.

"We've been here since the sun came up and we'll be here until the sun goes down and it'll be all good," Hupp said.

Nobody knows when the next match-up between the Oklahoma rivals will be, but they do know they're ready to get back together and tailgate again.
