Brent Venables Hopes To 'Try And Fix Things' For OU Ahead Of Game Against West Virginia

The tone of Brent Venable's weekly presser is a little tense, after dropping 2 straight last-possession games.

From an emotional Texas win & an unbeaten Top 5 team and playoff contender; to a beat-up bunch looking to regroup. Lots of injured players day-to-day.

But Danny Stutsman, Tawee Walker & Gentry Williams have returned to practice.

Whether you chalk it up to missed calls, mistakes, or injuries, OU has stumbled over the last two weeks. And Sooner fans are frustrated.

But at 7-2, the season is far from over, and Head Coach Brent Venables seems to believe he can right this ship in the next three weeks. "That's what our job is to do. You know, as coaches [we always] have to be on guard and have a plan on how to try and fix things. And some of it's going to develop in your personnel," said Coach Venables.
