Man Arrested In Connection To Deadly Shooting Of Wife In NW Oklahoma City

A man was arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in northwest Oklahoma City.

Kala Wallace, 34, was shot on Thursday, Nov. 9, near Northwest 83rd and Harvey. Kala Wallace was transported to a local hospital where she later died, police say.

Taryl Wallace, Kala Wallace's husband, was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault with a deadly weapon, possessing a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a firearm while under the influence, according to police. The District Attorney's Office will decide if the charges will be amended now that Kala Wallace has died.

Police say that the investigation is in early stages.
