The iconic Cain's Ballroom is celebrating 100 years with some big announcements.

Cain's opened in 1924, and Mayor GT proclaimed January 23 as Cain’s Ballroom Centennial Day.

The owners wanted to celebrate big and announced three special shows and a new beer for the centennial.

Chad Rogers and his family bought Cains back in 2002 and never imagined they’d own the music hall for its 100th birthday, but they say it’s an honor.

Cain’s has been a stepping stone for some of the biggest names in music like Bon Jovi, U2, Van Halen, Post Malone, and even country superstars like Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs.

Rodgers says they want to continue bringing in big names for the fans and are doing so this year for the centennial with Jason Isbell for two nights in May, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss in the summer, and the Hanson brothers in December.

Cain’s also teamed up with Marshall Brewing to launch a special beer to celebrate 100 years.

“My brother and I call ourselves stewards, custodians of this living, breathing Museum, and it is a true honor to own. We keep that in the back of our minds on every decision we make because this place means a lot to the music community," said Rodgers.

The new beer is called Centennial Ale and will be released in the coming months.

Tickets for the three special shows go on sale this Friday, January 26, at 10 a.m.
