Body Camera Footage Shows Police Rescue Animals From Burning Truck

Body camera footage shows the moment police rescued camels, zebras, and a miniature horse from a fiery truck on an Indiana highway this past weekend.

The trailer, which was carrying animals from the Shrine Circus, had caught fire on a highway.

The police said the driver and the animals were “uninjured."

In the body camera footage, several officers can be seen entering the trailer to rescue the animals, as part of the vehicle is engulfed in flames.

The police also added that the responding officers and the driver “risked their lives to save these animals."
