Description
A coconut cake with fruit, delicious warm or cool!
Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup macadamia or pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prep: Spray a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Combine: Pour the crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling into the pan.
- Combine: Stir to combine.
- Combine: Mix together the cake mix, coconut and nuts in a bowl.
- Combine: Sprinkle the dry mixture over the top of the fruit.
- Combine: Make sure to cover completely.
- Combine: Pour the melted butter over the top.
- Cook: Bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Cool: Serve warm or cooled. Either way it is delicious!
