70-Year-Old Tulsa Man Killed In Okmulgee County Crash

A 70-year-old Tulsa man is dead following a crash Sunday afternoon in Okmulgee County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Ricci Barton died at the scene on State Highway 56 and North Mission Road.

The crash involved another vehicle and the 26-year-old driver was taken to a Tulsa hospital, OHP says. That driver is expected to survive.

OHP said Barton was pinned in his vehicle for over an hour before Okmulgee Fire extricated him.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other details have been released.
