Three people have been arrested after a double homicide in Woods County, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The OSBI said on Thursday, the Woods County Sheriff's Office requested their assistance with a double homicide after deputies responded to a residence at around 4 a.m. in Freedom regarding possible gunshots.
When deputies arrived on scene at a residence near Saddlehorn Drive and Dusty Trail, they said they discovered 70-year-old Gary Neil Bradt dead and 19-year-old Timothy Lane Wilcox in critical condition.
Deputies said life-saving measures were performed to save Wilcox's life, but Wilcox passed away at the scene.
The OSBI said based on the information obtained from the property, they were able to locate and take into custody three suspects: 23-year-old Christopher Isaiah Padilla, 20-year-old Elijah Isaiah Mann and an unnamed 17-year-old female, who were all arrested on two counts of first-degree murder.
The OSBI said all three were booked into the Woodward County Jail.
Bradt and Wilcox were transported to the Office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner to determine a cause and manner of death.
