Oklahoma Thunder fans are waiting in anticipation for Sunday night's game against the Pelicans.
Oklahoma City Thunder's Director of Events and Entertainment John Leach joined News 9 to talk about everything the Thunder has planned for the playoff games.
"It's an exciting day. We're going to start the festivities at five tonight at the Scissor Tail Park for Thunder Up in the park," Leach said.
They are also giving people the opportunity to win tickets to Sunday's game.
"We're gonna give away 20 pairs with the Thunder ticket challenge presented by our friends at Simple Modern," Leach said. "You never know you could come up to thunder up in the park and have a good time just with the festivities, but end up going to the game because you won some tickets."
Leach says the fans make a difference for the team.
"We have such a long history of having supportive passionate fans and it really makes a difference for our players when they show up on the court and all the fans are already there and going crazy," Leach said. "It just creates, it's a great environment for us."
Thunder Up in the park is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Scissortail Park, and is open to the community. Tip off for the Thunder and Pelicans is at 8:30 p.m.
