The Oklahoma City Memorial Men's Half-Marathon and Women's Half-Marathon winners have officially crossed the finish line.
Al Maeder, who won last year's full marathon, finished first in the half-marathon this year.
"I feel like there's just there's very few moments growing up from Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Norman that gave you the the chills you get at the start line," Maeder said. "The first year I did it I I was hooked."
Ali Andrews finished first in the Women's Half-Marathon. She will be running in Berlin this summer, representing Oklahoma.
"I think it's just remembering those who lost their lives and being able to go out there and represent for people who can't do it," Andrews said. "I think it's so special, and having this be my home city, that means a lot."
