1 Teenager Dead, 1 Injured After I-35 Collision in Wynnewood

A teenager from Moore has died after a collision on southbound Interstate 35 just west of Wynnewood in Garvin County on Monday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP says the victim was a 17-year-old girl who was pronounced dead on the scene due to massive injuries after colliding with a semi-tractor and trailer.

Another teenager in the car was injured and transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center and the driver of the semi was not injured, according to OHP.

OHP has not released any details about the cause of the collision as it is still under investigation.
