NORMAN, Okla. -
A man has been sentenced to life in prison for the 2021 murder of his sister.
Norman police say Octavio Sanchez and his wife Desiree killed Margarita Sandoval.
The couple hid Sandoval’s body in a box for three years before it was found, according to investigators.

Sanchez pleaded no contest to manslaughter in court Monday. Desiree Sanchez is already serving a life sentence in this case.
