1 Injured After NW Oklahoma City Shooting

One person was hurt after a shooting Thursday night in northwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police responded to a call of a shooting at around 11 p.m. near North Rockwell Avenue and West Wilshire Boulevard.

Police said a security guard was checking out an apartment on Lyrewood Lane, south of West Wilshire Boulevard, when he found two people in an apartment that was supposed to be vacant.

Investigators said there was a fight, and the security guard was shot in the hand.

OCPD are investigating the scene.
