Devastating tornadoes wreaked havoc Sunday night across Oklahoma, with one striking near the Oklahoma City metro area.
As the News 9 team surveyed the storm's path on Monday morning, several homes were damaged and debris was found on farmland and in fields of rural Oklahoma.
The tornadoes were spawned by a powerful storm system that prompted a severe thunderstorm watch for the majority of the News 9 viewing area until midnight.
Earlier in the evening, there were tornadoes reported in western Oklahoma. The first was a brief tornado in Roger Mills County, and the next was a much larger tornado near Custer City.
According to Blaine County Emergency Management, two people were hurt east of Hydro by the storms. As of Monday morning, the town was also without power.
Jim Gardner and Bob Mills SkyNews 9 flew over some of the damaged areas and found homes and land that were affected.

A family in a home near Union City is picking up the pieces after their home was demolished in the storms. They say they installed a storm shelter just three weeks ago.
The City of Oklahoma City released Monday afternoon that several parts of OKC were affected by storms. Multiple power lines are down citywide, and several intersections are flooded.
The main damage they reported was near C.E. Page Airport, where the fence line and two small structures were damaged.
They also reported damage to two homes in El Reno, debris strewn across fields, and downed power lines.
News 9's Jennifer Pierce was near Northwest 10th Street and Cimarron Road Monday morning, finding damaged homes, cars, trees, and a dead animal.
