McClain County Motorcycle Crash Leaves 1 Dead

A crash involving a motorcycle left one person dead Tuesday afternoon in Blanchard, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

One person is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle Tuesday evening in McClain County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said at around 6 30 p.m., a motorcycle piloted by 20-year-old Austin Stokes was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes of County Street 2990 near 353rd Street in Blanchard when another vehicle, driven by 49-year-old Tanya Anderson, crested over the top of a hill and struck Stokes' motorcycle head-on.

Stokes was transported by EMS services to a hospital in Oklahoma City, where he later died.

Anderson was not injured, but the passenger in Anderson's vehicle, 31-year-old Kiaya Anderson, was treated for her injuries and released.
