Norman received four inches of rain, resulting in heavy flooding that caused massive damage to homes and RVs that were surrounded by flood water.

A mobile home park located near Sunny Lane and Indian Hills Road was severely impacted by heavy flooding, which damaged several mobile homes in the area.

Kevin, who does maintenance for the mobile home park, spoke on the damage dealt to this community early Tuesday morning.

"We've got debris damage back there, but fortunately, none of my RVs; I have a spot back here where we have just our RVs, fortunately, they didn't turn into pontoons," Kevin said.

Most debris came from broken trees and other objects that were carried downstream.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department receives specific training that notifies firefighters on how to keep Oklahoma residents safe in situations like this.
