NW OKC Accident Causing Delays After Vehicle Caught Fire

Authorities responded to an accident in northwest Oklahoma City Wednesday afternoon that is now causing traffic delays in the area.

The scene is near North Pennsylvania Avenue and Memorial Road. Northbound traffic on Penn will be diverted while crews work to fix the damage.

Police say that this was a two-vehicle accident. Officials say that one vehicle ran a red light, and the vehicles collided. Police say that one of the vehicles then hit a pole, but that the individuals in the car made it out before the vehicle caught fire.

Police say there were no injuries.
