Child Hospitalized After Near Drowning Incident In Oklahoma City

A 4-year-old boy was taken to the hospital Saturday evening after a near drowning incident, authorities said.

The incident happened at an apartment pool in southeast Oklahoma City around 5 p.m., authorities said.

Authorities said they received a call around 5:30 p.m. about a person at a pool who was not breathing.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they said they found a 4-year-old boy needing assistance.

The child was treated at the scene and was taken to a local hospital, authorities said. He is expected to be OK, according to authorities.
