Firefighters Battle NW Oklahoma City House Fire

Oklahoma City firefighters responded to a house fire Wednesday morning in the northwestern part of the city.

The fire, located near Northwest 160th Street and North May Avenue, has resulted in the closure of the north and southbound lanes of May Avenue in the area.

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire, but the Oklahoma City Fire Department said this is the second fire at this residence overnight.

The first fire was caused by a lightning strike, but OKCFD said they are still determining the cause of the second fire.
