Oklahoma City Airport Trust Considers Name Change For Will Rogers World Airport

Will Rogers World Airport may be changing its name in 2025, according to the Oklahoma City Airport Trust.

According to the Oklahoma City Airport Trust, the airport is considering a name change in February due to a survey conducted by the trust.

The survey, which polled around 6000 participants, showed that only about 19% of Oklahomans actually call the airport by its full name.

The Oklahoma City Airport Trust said the survey will help in choosing which name the airport will be using in the future, assisted by a company hired by the trust to help in making the decision.
