It is a DUSTY sunrise in Oklahoma this Tuesday!

Dust from the Saharan Desert has entered our skies. This happens almost every year around this time of year, as the jet stream winds bring the dust across the Atlantic.

This could make it a little tough for folks with breathing issues on Tuesday.

It is truly fascinating how dust plays a vital role in our rainforests. The dust is full of phosphorus and fertilizes the rain forests. Yes, the desert fuels the most lush places on earth. The dust has key roles in our atmosphere and much more.

How will it impact Oklahoma?

It could give us hazy skies and lead to beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

If it rains, we could have some muddy cars. There are no major impacts, but it is still very cool.
