Chickasha Road Reopened After Crews Repair Multiple Downed Power Lines

A road in Chickasha has been reopened after heavy winds in the area knocked down power lines Sunday evening, authorities say.

Country Road 2880 was closed near Highway 62 after eight power lines were downed, bringing traffic along the roadway to a halt.

It is unknown if anyone was injured as a result of the downed lines, but the road is now open to all traffic.
