1 Hospitalized After Car Falls Into SE Oklahoma City Creek

One person was taken to the hospital after their vehicle fell into a creek Friday morning in southeastern Oklahoma City.

The car, which landed in the creek bottom upright, departed the roadway near Southwest 39th Street and South Barnes Place for unknown reasons and crashed through a fence before landing in the creek.

Oklahoma City Police soon responded to the creek, which was empty of water and had a concrete bottom.

The driver's condition is unknown at this time.
