1 Dead After NW Oklahoma City Shooting, Police Searching For Suspect

One person is dead after a shooting Monday morning in northwestern Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said the fatal shooting happened before 2 a.m. Northwest 118th Street and North Walker Avenue.

After arriving on scene, OCPD said officers found an injured victim, a 13-year-old girl, laying in the front yard of a residence in the area.

OCPD said the victim was transported to a hospital, where she later died.

Witnesses on scene said several people ran from the scene shortly after the shooting, although there is no suspect information available at this time.
