Man Arrested After Gunshots Reported In SW Oklahoma City

One man was arrested after Oklahoma City Police officers surrounded a home Wednesday morning in the southwestern part of the city.

News 9 was originally brought to a hospital near Southwest 42nd Street and South Western Avenue, after a victim with a gunshot wound from a separate incident arrived at the hospital.

Shortly after arriving on scene to question the initial victim, OCPD officers reported hearing gunshots coming from a home down the street.

Officers surrounded the home, and at least one person has been arrested, although it is unknown if how is related to the shooting.

OCPD has since left the scene.
