Jones Man Charged With Child Sex Crimes

Timothy Flynt faces 20 counts of child sex crimes, including rape in the first degree, following allegations made by a series of his neighbors.

Oklahoma City Police arrested him in late June, and he remains in the Oklahoma County Detention Center with $500,000 bail.

A probable cause affidavit filed on Thursday lists the details behind each count, which allegedly occurred as early as October of 2023 and as recently as June.

In the document, investigators state they first learned of the allegations after the person who made the initial report was told about the behavior by a neighbor. That neighbor's daughter revealed to her parent that Flynt allegedly showed children a homemade pornographic video.

The person who made the report told investigators she confronted Flynt, who claimed he told the girls who saw the video "not to say anything due to the marriage trouble he was experiencing." Flynt's wife has since filed for a divorce, according to online court records.

Detectives conducted forensics interviews with the children who came forward in the case. In those interviews, the children confirmed the types of sexual abuse they experienced by pointing to or circling parts of an anatomical drawing.

In another instance, a girl told investigators she had a birthday sleepover at Flynt's house. During the sleepover, she claims Flynt raped her. 

Flynt allegedly told the children they "would be in trouble" if they told anyone.

Several neighbors have since filed for protective orders.
