One man has been arrested after the Norman Police Department said he fled the scene of a Norman crash that left three people injured and one person dead.

Police say the suspect, Bradyn Brown, was taken into custody on Sunday evening after the crash on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the initial investigation indicates that a truck traveling westbound on Rock Creek Road at a high rate of speed did not stop for the stop sign and collided with an SUV traveling on Northwest 60th Avenue. The SUV was occupied by four people: a 40-year-old female who died as a result of injuries from the crash, a 38-year-old male, now in critical condition, and a 13-year-old and 10-year-old who were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the truck was identified as 22-year-old Brown, who fled the scene after the collision

Brown was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center on complaints of first-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident involving injury.
