After 18 years of service to the City of Edmond, Sergeant Joe Wells is retiring.

After 18 years of service to the City of Edmond, Sergeant Joe Wells is retiring.

This comes after Wells was involved in a head-on collision when he was hit by a drunk driver.

Wells was later awarded a Purple Heart.

Wells spent months in the hospital and has continued to live with complications from the crash.
