Nic Anderson the redshirt sophomore from Oklahoma, has been added to The Biletnikoff Award preseason watchlist. Last season Anderson finished the season with almost 800 yards receiving with 10 touchdowns while playing in 13 games.
One of Anderson's best games of the season came against Tulsa where he caught three passes, all for touchdowns, and finished with 120 yards.
The award is named after former Florida State wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff who led the country in receiving yards and touchdowns as a senior in 1964.
Nicknamed the "Scarecrow", he went on to play in the CFL and NFL, becoming a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame. The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the college football season's outstanding receiver, regardless of position.
