Oklahoma Journalist Files Lawsuit Against Oklahoma Co. District Attorney

An Oklahoma City metro journalist is suing the Oklahoma County District Attorney regarding documents related to three separate shootings involving police officers from 2019 to 2020.

Although charges against the officers were dropped in all cases, Oklahoma County District Attorney Vickie Behenna said she hired an expert based in California to review the cases.

The editor-in-chief for NonDoc, Tres Savage, said he requested the contract between Behenna and the expert, but never received it.

“I think Oklahoma taxpayers want to know, at minimum, what were the terms of that agreement," Savage said.

News 9 has reached out to Behenna's office, who says they have no comment at this time.
