The Price Tower in Bartlesville said it is giving all of its tenants 30 days to move out.

News On 6 reported Friday, the Inn at the Frank Lloyd Wright skyscraper was temporarily closing.

Tenants said the Price Tower is "special," and that they loved their time in the building. Meanwhile, a select few people are seeing it for the first time.

Two couples who planned ahead, one from Texas and one from Pennsylvania, are some of the last people to tour the Price Tower, at least for now.

"It's a strange feeling, to know that something's closing and you know you think it's gonna just be open forever,” Joyce Stephens said.

The group, led by a volunteer, went up to the very top of the historic site Monday, and learned a lot from the ground, too.

"We like Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and this is the only skyscraper he has ever built and we wanted to see it,” Joyce said.

Joyce and her husband, Greg, were planning to spend the night at the Inn, before learning it was closed.

"When we travel, we're always looking for interesting things to do and see,” Joyce said. “However we do, do a lot of hiking, so we're always looking for something on an off day to do."

And while some people can still get in for tours, at least one tenant is already moving out.

Price Tower said businesses have 30 days to leave.

B Monthly magazine said it has somewhere else to go, and decided not to wait.

Another tenant, Ambler Architects, said on Facebook its employees are being displaced from their Price Tower home "for a short while." The firm goes on to say it has some options for another workspace, encouraging clients by saying "…don't be worried - we won't miss a beat!"

While the future is uncertain for the tower, Joyce and Greg are certain their planning still paid off.

Price Tower said it is honoring previously booked tours through the end of this week.
