Tulsa County prosecutors charged a woman with child neglect after her newborn baby tested positive for amphetamines, fentanyl, meth and THC.

Documents show Sydney Wayland and her baby tested positive for the drugs.

The probable cause affidavit said the newborn's withdrawal symptoms were so excruciating, the baby had to be given morphine for days to help with the pain.

Investigators said Wayland had very limited prenatal care and the baby was delivered at 36 weeks.

The document said Wayland told the DHS worker she thought she could use fentanyl and still be a safe parent.
