The Walk to End Alzheimer's is underway in Tulsa on Saturday. It's the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care and research and is held nationwide.
Vendors, mascots, pets and people gathered at Dream Keepers Park ahead of the walk that began at 9 a.m.
7 million people are living with Alzheimer's in America. The goal is to raise $293,000.
Each participant gets a promise garden flower, which come in four colors that represent a connection to the disease.
"The goal is for people to leave with hope, hope for a cure and hope for support," said Maggie Gaskins with the Alzheimer's Association.
