Tulsa Police have identified the man arrested and accused of shooting a QuikTrip security guard during an altercation over the weekend.

Investigators said Brian Logan, 41, was told to leave by a security guard for causing a disturbance at the store near West 15th and Denver on Saturday.

He turned around to leave but then ran back and kicked the guard in the back, knocking him to the ground, police say.

A fight ensued and police said Logan reached for the guard's pistol, which fired and hit him in the foot.

Police said he has non-life-threatening injuries.

Tulsa Police arrived at the same time the shot was fired and placed Logan under arrest.

He is in custody facing a shooting with intent to kill charge.
