Classic Cars Show: Route 66 Cruisers To Host Annual Fall Charity Event At Claremore Lake

Claremore is set to host the 16th annual Route 66 Cruisers car show this weekend at Claremore Lake, offering visitors a chance to enjoy cooler fall weather while supporting a good cause.

The event, organized by the nonprofit Route 66 Cruisers car club, is expected to feature over 200 classic cars, with trophies awarded in 30 different classes, along with several specialty trophies.

The Route 66 Cruisers have a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community, having donated over $50,000 to the Shriners and supported various Rogers County charities over the years. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in raffles for exciting prizes, including a 3-day trip to Branson at Treasure Lake Resort and two guitars.

In addition to the cars, the event will also feature craft vendors, food trucks, and playgrounds for children, making it a family-friendly outing.

The event is Friday from 4-6 p.m. a the Ne-Mar Center in Claremore then on Saturday, Sept. 28.
