Today's outdoor pictures feature Erica Brodie.

One shows her as a toddler proudly holding up a crappie, and the other, taken just the other day at 16, captures her with a big bass she caught at Skiatook Lake.

Her sister shared the photos, saying Erica has been fishing since she could walk.

Although they didn’t get the bass's weight, the picture proves it didn't get away—at least until Erica released it to carry on its strong genes.
